My love for animals started as a young child. I grew up playing next door at my grandparent’s farm, but my true love for dogs began across the street where my neighbor raised beagles. I enjoyed hours upon hours playing with the puppies. I was hooked. You could say I was never without a furry friend at my heels or in my arms! Over the years I opened my home and heart to many 4-legged family members and I’m currently a proud mother to Jewels (my taco hotdog) and Peyton (my true blue3). Not to be upstaged by my two cats, Lucky and Gerry. It’s safe to say I always have a link brush handy!

Like most dog owners, I hated leaving my dogs home while I was away, so I started my search from Alexandria to Indy and in between for the perfect doggy daycare. I never felt comfortable leaving my best friends in a traditional kennel with cold brick walls, metal gated doors and small cages stacked on top of each other. It seemed wrong when I was told I could pay extra to have my dogs loved on, walked, or played with. That’s when I discovered the need for a loving, caring daycare and boarding facility for dogs in our area.
At Key’s Kanine Kountry Klub we let our 4-legged Klub members play from the minute they walk in the door until they are picked up, never putting them in a cage. Kennels are not a part of our care, but fun, hugs, and love are!
